How will your child join Mud Club sessions?

Pick every kit that applies — you can choose more than one, and they'll go on the same request.

Check what you already have

For each item, tap "Already have it" if you're all set — no need to buy it again. Tap "Add to request" for anything missing, and it'll go onto your list below. Each item shows what to look for — any brand that meets it, from any store, works fine.

Already have a Meta Quest headset? It might already be perfect.

A Quest 3S, Quest 3, or newer works great. An older Quest 2 can often keep up too — check with us before replacing it. Not sure? Email hello@mudclub.ca and we'll check your headset — before you spend anything.

Already have a computer? It may already be a great fit.

For the smoothest Mud Club experience, your child's computer should be able to run Minecraft and Microsoft Teams at the same time.

  • Windows 11 is recommended
  • Recent Macs can also work with Minecraft Java Edition
  • Chromebooks and tablets may work in some cases, but are not recommended as the main device for Mud Club sessions
  • A recent Intel, AMD, or Apple processor
  • 16 GB of RAM or more
  • Modern graphics, with a dedicated NVIDIA, AMD Radeon, or Intel Arc graphics card preferred
  • Around 30 GB of free storage for Minecraft, Teams, and updates
  • A stable internet connection and a headset with a microphone

To check a Windows computer:

  • Press the Windows key and search for About your PC to find the Windows version, processor, and RAM.
  • Open Task Manager → Performance → GPU to find the graphics model.
  • Open Settings → System → Storage to check available storage space.

These are recommendations, not strict requirements. A computer with lower specifications may still work, especially if Microsoft Teams is used on a second device.
